About Terry's Grill

In 2017, Mark and Sylene met in Allen, Texas. They dated for 2 years before getting married in July of 2020. God led them to North Jax and they acquired Terry's in January of 2023. They both love Jesus and more importantly love spending time with their customers.

 Sylene worked in personal insurance after raising her beautiful children. She is from Lima, Peru and came to the United States in 1993. She enjoys going to her Bible Study Group, working out, going to the beach, and being a Gigi to two beautiful grandchild.

 Mark’s career has been in the cybersecurity sales space for over 30 years. He managed and worked in various chain and private restaurants before getting into sales. He enjoys cooking, listening to Christian music, working out, hunting, boating and going to the beach. One interesting fact about Mark is that he has lived in 18 states and abroad!  

At Terry's, we are known for our warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our top priorities are serving our customers a great Southern meal, and building strong relationships with everyone who walks through the door. We have 20 employees and a few that have been with us 5 to 24 years. We love the community and serve it as much as possible.
